Notice for all Florida Residents: Due to state and local building regulations, the shed installation process in Florida differs from most other areas. Building permits are required for nearly all shed installations, and construction must follow a multi-step inspection process.

During the build, a licensed building inspector will conduct multiple site visits to review and approve various phases of construction, which may include:

  • Foundation
  • Framing and sheeting
  • Dry-in (felt and drip edge)
  • Final shingle and completion inspection

The number and timing of inspections may vary depending on your local municipality and project requirements.

Because of these required inspections, the installation process typically spans multiple days.

Please note that installation is generally scheduled 6–8 weeks from the order date. This timeline may vary depending on permit approval. If permits are obtained sooner, we will make every effort to move your installation date forward.
